Bonsignour, for a latte and the World Cup

It wasn't your usual crowd this morning at Bonsignour on Jane Street at 8th Avenue. This largely Latino crowd looked like they were at Mass, worshipping at the altar of World Cup Soccer. It was Uruguay over Mexico, 1-0.

  1. Lot of "worshipping" going on in T.O., too! They've even opened some bars in the a.m. to watch some of the overseas action live.

  2. Same thing happening here. I love hearing the cheers from my office window as I work. And I have fond memories of the crazy Greek, Korean and Portugese celebrations that took place in Toronto during the World Cup, too!
